This is the very first message ever posted to alt.religion.scientology (a.r.s.) by The Librarian. To understand it, you should first read the press release, "HIDDEN TIES BETWEEN IRS AND SCIENTOLOGY REVEALED," which had been posted in a.r.s. not long before and had raised some eybrows. Not only is it the document that she is posting a verification reference for, but the the names and issues that the press release covers play an important role in many of her subsequent messages. As it turned out, she didn't get the expected response to her first research efforts—thank whatever gods may be—and the rest is what this site is, well, alllllllll about...
